1 Corinthians 15:1
1: Now let me remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then and still do now, for your faith is built on this wonderful message.
Galatians 1:6
- I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who in his love and mercy called you to share the eternal life he gives through Christ. You are already following a different way
- that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who twist and change the truth concerning Christ.
- Let God's curse fall on anyone, including myself, who preaches any other message than the one we told you about. Even if an angel comes from heaven and preaches any other message, let him be forever cursed.
- I will say it again: If anyone preaches any other gospel than the one you welcomed, let God's curse fall upon that person.
- Obviously, I'm not trying to be a people pleaser! No, I am trying to please God. If I were still trying to please people, I would not be Christ's servant.
1 Corinthians 15:3
- I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me--that Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.
- He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, as the Scriptures said.
- He was seen by Peter and then by the twelve apostles.
- After that, he was seen by more than five hundred of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died by now.
- Then he was seen by James and later by all the apostles.
1 Peter 5:12
- I have written this short letter to you with the help of Silas, whom I consider a faithful brother. My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that the grace of God is with you no matter what happens.
2 Corinthians 1:24
- But that does not mean we want to tell you exactly how to put your faith into practice. We want to work together with you so you will be full of joy as you stand firm in your faith.

- Soon the news reached the apostles and other believers in Judea that the Gentiles had received the word of God.
1 Thessalonians 4:1
- Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You are doing this already, and we encourage you to do so more and more.
Acts 2:41

1 Corinthians 1:4

- And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command with the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from any Christian who lives in idleness and doesn't follow the tradition of hard work we gave you.
1 Thessalonians 1:6
- So you received the message with joy from the Holy Spirit in spite of the severe suffering it brought you. In this way, you imitated both us and the Lord.

- And we will never stop thanking God that when we preached his message to you, you didn't think of the words we spoke as being just our own. You accepted what we said as the very word of God--which, of course, it was. And this word continues to work in you who believe.

- I came to you in weakness--timid and trembling.
- And my message and my preaching were very plain. I did not use wise and persuasive speeches, but the Holy Spirit was powerful among you.
- I did this so that you might trust the power of God rather than human wisdom.
- Yet when I am among mature Christians, I do speak with words of wisdom, but not the kind of wisdom that belongs to this world, and not the kind that appeals to the rulers of this world, who are being brought to nothing.
John 12:48
- But all who reject me and my message will be judged at the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken.
1 Corinthians 1:23
- So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended, and the Gentiles say it's all nonsense.
- But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the mighty power of God and the wonderful wisdom of God.

- My job was to plant the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God, not we, who made it grow.
